called washington, d.c. our nation's capital where everybody has fled the coop except us. president's out of town. vice president's out of town. the house and the senate are all out of town as are most lobbyists and staffers and anybody with any sense, obviously we don't have any. big news today on the law enforcement area in the law enforcement area on three different fronts. first of all, attorney general eric holder says correctly that too many people are in prison for too long for offenses which don't deserve any prison time and he calls for changing our sentencing laws so prison is only reserved for the most serious offenses. a new york judge has said that new york city's stop, question and frisk policy or practices of the new york city police is wrong. it amounts to racial profiling and she says that they've got to stop it. stop and question people based on reasonable suspicion. in boston, a jury has found whitey bulger, surprise, surprise, guilty of racketeering and 11 counts of murder. all of that and more coming up right here on current tv. if you believe in state's rights but st

system here in washington. it's called the metro. i use it all the time. that's how i get down to the white house and back every day. and almost anywhere i go, we use our car in washington probably one day a week. for one thing. otherwise, it is all metro or walk. walk in the neighborhood or metro. but something happened yesterday at metro that never happened before at the la font plaza station which is one, two, three stations, three stops from our subway stop here at eastern market on capitol hill. a lady was very, very pregnant, stepped off the train and wow, the baby said mommy, it's my time. she delivered and she said you know, when it comes -- there was an emt happened to be there off-duty right on the same train with her. got off, delivered the baby. here's the mama and a bystander. >> the baby's ready to come out, you just got to be ready. >> i've never seen anything like it. baby being born, not even my own children. i was really nervous, kind of scare and concerned about the baby's health and just a blessing the emt was here. >> popped right out like she was a quarter

are in washington, d.c. all you see are red caps, red shirts all over town. not so much this time. we are finally getting our money's worth in stephen strasbourg. he pitched his first complete game and it was a shutout. >> stephen strasbourg will take the mound for the final inning today. superman. complete game! what an amazing play to close it out. >> bill: direct line hit to third base and for zimmerman that could have been trouble, but he caught it, and it was all over. >> great play, he only gave up four hits and no runs. it was a very impressive performance. 11 strikeouts, he was good. >> i'm sure they were saying the right thing was done. >> maybe, he is is not pitching well. >> bill: jason dufner is having a great weekend. even though he bogeyed the last two holes he won the championship at oak hill in an impressive field. this is a guy who is as cool a s a cucumber and shows no emotion like some of the others we know, but looks can be deceiving. >> i come across as a cool customer, i guess, but there are nerves out there, especially when you're trying to win a major championship. >> bill
